don´t read this if you haven´t seen spiderman 2, but here´s the thing: i´m kinda pissed. i guess part of it was the the fucking movie was in spanish. what a weird directorial technique. really, i know peter parker is good at math and shit, but i´m pretty sure he doesn´t speak spanish. and come on Sam Raymi or however you spell it, like whats up with the green goblin deal? Spiderman ALREADY beat the green goblin in the first movie. what about this new green goblin is supposed to seem worse than the first one? fuck!

Sharing dinner with a friend from portland the other night, Jen. I raised my glass, "Le Chiam!" I toasted. But she didn´t want to. She put her glass down and said, "I´m not toasting to that." I was confused, she seemed seriously offended. "Do you even know what that means?" I asked. She looked pissed: "Yes, I know what that means, and I´m NOT toasting to the hymen!"

been in antigua now for 5 days with ma an pa lazar and man its been nice. nice restaurants, nice nice hotel, and internet. and woah, before i forget, if you can get your hands on it, check out "I Am Cuba", its a movie i saw last night by Scorcesi and Francis ford Coppola about cuba in the 50s before fidel took over.

Hanging out with my parents makes me want to sell out. at least just a little. i mean the stuff money can buy. ok, let me think....chocolate donuts........nice sandals.....you catch my drift. this afternoon we spent looking at real estate. not none of that fake shit. uh uh. they`re thinking about living here 4 months of the year when they retire. yes, i do have moral qualms about having a house you live in 4 months of the year, esp in a country with so much fucking poverty and corruption and tortillas. man, LOTS of tortillas here. but you see my point.

wuzusukuz? yo i´m here in Xela with me rents. just spending the weekend here so my parents can check the town out. had my first hot shower last night, preceded by the hot shower i had last weekend (the other time i slept in a hotel on my parents tab). i guess i ´don´t have anything to say, except the word "except", and i already said that twice now.
