Last night I ran into Grant in Washington Square park. For those of you who don't know, grant is one of my oldest friends. 5th grade. He was watching a chess game in the park and I walked over to him. He looked up and said, "Jed! Today's my birthday!"

and it was. we went out for wings and drinks with sarah, his wife, and co-workers. I got drunk and splattered chicken wing red juice all over my white shirt.

opened my eyes and all i saw was the brown of the long sleeve shirt my grandfather gave me. Pulled the shirt down from my face and looked at the black lady sitting across the aisle from me.

"Does my hair look ok?" I asked
"No!" She said with that black lady sass and then cackled.

I took the 25 hour Amtrak up from Boca Raton Florida to Penn Station and am now in Queens. The train ride was great and i recommend giving it a shot. The itinerary:

Florida: Nov 6th-17th
Queens, NY: Nov 18th-23rd
Seattle, WA: Nov 24th-29th (SHHHH THIS IS A SECRET SURPRISE FOR MY MOM!@)
Queens Again: Nov 29th-sometime around Dec 18. I don't really know
SLC: Late dec- I don't know
Portland: this is just an idea sander and i were talking about. moving there. just trying it for 6 months. he and i are both pretty broke, so we'll see. plus i need to start buying hardwear to start working on my hip hop album.
